Booking Terms & Conditions

Please ensure you read & understand our booking Terms & Conditions before confirming your holiday.  If you have any queries, please do clarify them with us prior to booking your stay at Meadow Lakes Holiday Park.

1. Meadow Lakes is a family park. We do not accept large single sex groups or parties of young people unless by specific prior arrangement at the Management’s complete discretion. We reserve the right to refuse admission to any person(s).
2. Please respect the guests in other accommodation on the park, keeping noise to a minimum especially before 8:00am and after 11:00pm. The management reserves the right to terminate the booking of any person whose conduct is detrimental to the park or comfort of other guests.
3. Meadow Lakes cannot accept any liability whatsoever for loss, damage, accident or injury to person(s), property or personal belongings however caused during your stay at the park.
4. Bookings are non-transferable. No refund can be given or deposits returned for any reason including for inclement weather or early termination of your holiday.  
5. No arrivals after 10:00pm are permitted, unless in EXCEPTIONAL circumstances.
6. Parents & guests will be responsible for their own children and pets at all times. 
7. Young children must be accompanied to the toilets/showers. 
8. Girls/Boys over 8 years of age must use the appropriate Female/Male facilities. (Family rooms are available).
9. Children are not allowed to play in or around the toilet/shower areas or alone by the lake area.
10. No bicycles, skate boards, roller blades/skates, micro-scooters or similar are allowed inside any building on the Park. They must not be used on the entrance lanes or the main roads outside reception. 
11. Kites may only be flown on designated areas of the park, please confirm these areas with reception.  No private drones are permitted. 
12. Fireworks are strictly prohibited. Any guest found to be using them will be asked to leave the park.
13. E-Scooters are NOT permitted.
14. Please do not feed the animals unless accompanied by a member of staff, as animals are unpredictable and may bite.
15. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times except in the designated dog exercise area and must not be left unattended at any time, in any area on park or accommodation.  
16. Dogs are not permitted in the children’s play area at any time. 
17. Owners are responsible for the removal of any fouling on the Park, including from the exercise area. 
18. We reserve the right to refuse certain breeds of dogs that we consider inappropriate for a family holiday park.
19. Maximum of x2 dogs per accommodation permitted.
20. No Lorries, commercial or converted vehicles are allowed on the Park without prior arrangement.
21. Unlicensed motorised vehicles of any kind are not permitted, e.g. quad bikes and scooters.
22. A 10 MPH (max) speed limit applies at all times. The Road Traffic Act applies to all vehicles when on the Park, Therefore any persons not insured or unqualified may be liable to Police prosecution.
23. An EA rod licence and Meadow Lakes fishing permit are required to fish in our lakes. Rules of the lakes must be adhered to at all times or the Meadow Lakes permit will be withdrawn. Your EA permit must be shown if asked for by a member of Meadow Lakes staff. Please collect a copy of fishing rules from reception before fishing and ensure all fish are returned to the lakes as soon as possible.
24. Please be aware that due to the nature of our countryside setting, there are a number of unprotected ditches. Our fishing lakes also have deep water so we insist that parents supervise their children particularly in these areas at all times.  Please note: No bikes or motorised scooters are allowed by the lakes.
25. Please notify a member of staff immediately if calling the emergency services.
26. Open fires and fire pits are not permitted on the park. Conventional BBQs are allowed, but they must be placed on suitable blocks and never directly on tables, decking, or grass. This is to prevent fire hazards and avoid damage to  the grass.
27. We reserve the right to alter or close certain amenities or facilities without prior notice.
28. The total number in your party must not exceed the capacity of the accommodation advertised. Bedding will only be provided for the maximum occupancy.  A baby/cot is deemed a member of your party. 
29. We reserve the right to move your allocated plot or accommodation without prior notice should we need to.
30. Any and all offers MUST BE QUOTED at time of booking to receive discount.  Offers CANNOT be applied after your booking has been confirmed, during, or after your stay.
31. Charging your electric car using your accommodation electricity is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.  Electric charging points near reception are available (chargeable).
32. We reserve the right to drain your hot tub during your stay due to misuse, a £60.00 charge will be payable to reception for a clean and refill.
