Meet the friendly animals who call Meadow Lakes home! From playful ponies and cheeky goats to our cuddly rabbits and chickens, they’re a big part of what makes our park so special. Guests of all ages love getting to know them during our regular animal petting times.

Our Ponies

Friendly ponies full of character and charm

Meet Alfie and Rufus, our miniature Shetland brothers who love walks around the park and plenty of attention during petting times. You might even spot Rufus in his pink unicorn boots! Our youngest, Blackberry, is a bright Dartmoor pony rehomed from The Hugs Foundation in Bodmin – full of confidence and curiosity.

Our Goats

Cheeky, playful and always ready for a snack

Our goats are among the most mischievous residents at Meadow Lakes. They love climbing, exploring, and saying hello to visitors during animal petting times. Watch their playful antics and see who can reach the highest branch!

Guinea pigs

Small, squeaky and irresistibly cute

Our friendly guinea pigs love cuddles and gentle attention. They’re a big hit with younger visitors and enjoy snuggling into their hay while munching on fresh vegetables. Come and meet them during our animal petting sessions.

Our donkeys

Gentle souls with big personalities

Our donkeys are calm, affectionate animals who enjoy company and care. They love being brushed and spending time with our guests. Each has their own unique charm – and they’re always happy to make new friends.

Feathered friends

Clucky characters who brighten up the park

From our lively hens to chatty ducks, the feathered friends of Meadow Lakes are always busy and full of personality. They provide fresh eggs and plenty of smiles — a lovely reminder of life in the Cornish countryside.

"In my own personal view it’s the gem in cornwall’s crown , from the beautiful entrance that greets you upon your arrival , to the warm and super happy and friendly staff who make the whole checking in process so easy . we arrived to our chalet we booked for 3 days and were just left speechless on how tidy , fresh clean and how homely it was inside , everything inside was just enough and not too much."

A fantastic location just outside of St Austell. We stayed here for a couples weekend to visit the Eden Sessions and had the hot tub with our stay and it was very relaxing out in the countryside. Could not recommend a quieter spot in the area
