Eden Project Ice Skating: 15th October – 5th February 2023
The ice rink is now available for 40-minute winter skating sessions! Skating courses for beginners take place every Wednesday evening and Saturday morning. Pre-booking is advised to secure your slot!
Heligan Night Garden: 18th November – 2nd January 2023
Journey through the magical garden trail, exploring woodlands and gardens beautifully lit with installations and lanterns. This year they will be offering ‘Lantern Making Workshops’ for children to light their path as they explore the night garden (pre-booking essential for these workshops).
The route is suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs, and alternative routes are provided where the pathways become more challenging. It is not recommended to bring dogs to this event.
Grampound Christmas Market: 26th November
This event will be held in Grampound Village Hall from 10am to 2pm. Over 30 stalls will be selling a range of crafts, gifts, decorations and plenty of homemade refreshments inside. Entry at the door is £1 with all proceeds going into Grampound’s Carnival Fund!
Christmas Lights Switch On: 26th November
Start the festive season with a Christmas Light Switch On at St Austell Town Centre, 5pm! Street entertainment includes choirs, musical bands, face painting, balloon modelling, Stilts walkers, Performing Arts, and much more!
Christmas Shopping Saturdays & Family Fun: 3rd – 17th December, 12pm until 6pm
Enjoy a Christmas shopping experience every Saturday at St Austell’s Town Centre, filled with street entertainment, Free balloons / face painting / teacup rides, Santa and handmade markets.

Enjoy a browse at the weekly Truro Markets Truro is home to two indoor markets and a twice-weekly outdoor Farmers Market. As well as this, Lemon Quay hosts the Cornwall Shop Small Market and the Outdoor Truro Antiques and Collectables Market on various dates throughout the year.
Mevagissey’s Harbour
Mevagissey’s harbour is the thing you tend to remember long after you’ve left. For a working harbour, members of the public have uncommonly good access. There is an inner quay and there are two outer harbour walls. Enjoy afternoon tea, in the many café’s, enjoy a walk, aquarium, or simply explore! The village is within a UNESCO Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
