January | Ice skating at the Eden Project!
Open until 23rd Feb
Their glittering ice rink is back! Why not have a whirl in our winter wonderland – everyone is welcome, from complete novices to figure skating pros.
February | Cornish Pasty Week!
23rd – 29th
It’s Cornish Pasty Week when the humble pasty will be celebrated throughout Cornwall and across the country, culminating in the ‘Oggy Oscars’ the ninth-annual World Pasty Championships at the Eden Project on the 29th February!
March | Falmouth Spring Festival
19th – 29th
As profiled on the BBC, the Falmouth Spring Festival organised by the Falmouth BID, is a wonderful early season celebration of coast, community and culture.
April | Porthelvan Food Festival
17th – 19th
The festival takes place in the picturesque harbour town of Porthleven, West Cornwall, expect all day cooking demos, food and craft stalls surrounding the harbour, music, dancing, performances, music, art and celebrity chefs cooking workshops.
May | Lostfest in Losthwithiel

This festival has now firmly established itself in the town’s calendar with arts and craft stalls in venues all over the town along with live music and dance both indoors and out.
June | Royal Cornwall Show & Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival
4th – 6th
The Royal Cornwall Show is Cornwall’s showcase since 1793 and a fascinating glimpse into rural life. Apart from the livestock judging, there is the famous flower tent, show jumping and a fast and furious inter-hunt relay.
12th – 14th
Falmouth’s famous International Sea Shanty Festival won the Bronze Cornwall Tourism Award in 2019 so is a fantastic event for all the family to attend!
July | Mevagissey Feast Week
28th Jun – 4th July
Community festival packed full of entertainment. Crab catching on the harbour, fishing boat races, dance along the street in the traditional flora dance, swing your partner at the ceilidh or simply watch and enjoy.
August | Charlestown Regatta Week & Boardmasters
1st – 7th
A week of fun events for all the family in Charlestown, famous for being the setting for the TV series, Poldark! Includes events such as the fun triathlon, raft races, donkey derby, live music and colourful carnival to raise funds for the local community.
5th – 9th
Boardmasters in Newquay is a world famous festival full of fun! Surf, skate & amazing music, situated across two legendary locations featuring the best in action sports including surfing and a laid back vibes.
September | St. Ives September Festival
12th – 26th
With 300 events planned for this year, there is something for everyone! So join in the St Ives September Festival celebrations – two weeks of great music, exhibitions, walks, talks, workshops, films, comedy, theatre, plays.
October | Falmouth Oyster Festival
8 – 11th
Packed with cookery demonstrations by leading local chefs, oysters, seafood, wine and local ale, sea shanties, and marquees brimming with Cornish produce.
November | Truro City of Lights

Welcome in the festive season in spectacular fashion as crowds gather for a wonderful illuminated procession through the streets…
December | Christmas in Cornwall!
