The National Maritime Museum in Falmouth, the South of Cornwall, is showcase a tattoo exhibition throughout the year. The highly anticipated exhibition provides a ground-breaking history of tattooing and features cutting edge designers, academics and collectors. This display tells a story which challenges long-standing myths and pre-conceptions about tattooing, whilst celebrating the heritage of tattooing as an art form.

Another popular exhibition is the A Certain Kind of Light exhibition at The Exchange on Princess Street, this major event showcases how artists respond to light, its transience and effect. This is through paintings. Sculpture. Photography and installation, featuring artworks from the 1950s and 60s.
