This statement contains important information for both holiday home owners and holiday guests at Meadow Lakes holiday park in Cornwall.
As you will be aware the Corona Virus (Covid-19) outbreak is an evolving situation and we are paying close attention to the advice and recommendations of the Government including Public Health England.
Meadow Lakes holiday park is currently closed.
We will follow the Governments advice as necessary. We are particularly concerned that we do everything possible to protect high risk groups (such as the elderly) and to flatten the infection peak.
Please make yourself aware of Government advice and follow it in respect of your personal situation.
Holiday Accommodation Guests:
We will now plan to be open from Saturday 4th July.
Cleaning and sterilisation of all accommodation will be paramount.
All new bookings must be for a minimum of 5 nights.
Existing bookings will be honoured as far as possible, but some may need to be changed, either by our own team or Hoseasons. Please contact us (inc your booking reference number) to info@meadow-lakes.co.uk or call us on 01726 882540 for more information on this. If you have to reschedule and there is a difference in cost, we will either refund the difference or you will need to pay the extra. Bookings can be re-scheduled up until 31st December 2021. However, we are expecting an increased work load due to this situation, but we will respond to your requests as soon as possible. Our office is currently still open mornings only: Monday to Saturday. If you have booked through Hoseasons, please contact them directly.
We will be offering any day check-ins for new bookings in all holiday accommodation to make it a little easier for you to find a suitable time.
Check out time will be from 9am and check-in from 5pm, to allow as much time as possible to ensure the accommodation is clean and ready for new guests.
Tenting & Touring:
We have decided to postpone the opening of our Tenting and Touring facilities at Meadow Lakes until further notice. This will be reviewed as necessary.
Seasonal Tourers:
Meadow Lakes is currently closed for Seasonal Tourers until further notice (subject to review). We will discuss credits with seasonal tourer owners for the period that they have been unable to use their touring caravan at Meadow Lakes.
Holiday Home Owners:
The park is currently closed for holiday home owners. We are planning to open on Saturday 4th July for our owners.
We are in the process of carrying out new risk assessments for Meadow Lakes and also drawing up new measures to ensure the park is Covid Secure. We are committed to doing business responsibly and ethically and we will follow Government advice as appropriate.
